Framför allt för att alla nya följare ska upptäcka den. Denna kaka påminner mycket om en sockerkaka, fast den är smaksatt med saffran och täckt med en underbar glasyr på svarta vinbär. Du behöver:
Kaka:
4 ägg
2 dl strösocker
0,5 g (1 påse) saffran
1 tsk vaniljsocker
1,5 dl vetemjöl
0,5 dl potatismjöl
2 tsk bakpulver
Glasyr:
0,5 dl svarta vinbär (jag använde frysta)
0,25-0,5 dl vatten (anpassa mängden för önskad konsistens)
2 dl florsocker
Riven vit choklad
Gör så här:
1 – Sätt ugnen på 175°C.
2 – Kaka: Smörj och bröa en rund sockerkaksform, ca 22 cm i diameter.
3 – Mortla saffran ihop med vaniljsocker. Vispa sedan saffran, vaniljsocker, ägg och strösocker fluffigt med elvisp, i 5-7 min. Sikta ner vetemjöl, potatismjöl och bakpulver i smeten och vänd försiktigt runt tills den är klumpfri.
4 – Grädda i nedre delen av ugnen i ca 30-35 min. Känn med sticka, den ska vara torr. Ta ut och låt svalna helt i rumstemperatur.
5 – Glasyr: Tina de svarta vinbären, om du använder frysta. Mosa dem i en sil ihop med lite vatten så att du endast får med saften från bären. Blanda sedan med florsocker till en len glasyr.
6 – Häll glasyren över kakan och låt den sedan stelna i kylskåp. Toppa kakan med riven vit choklad (det liknar ju snö!)
