Solskensbullar! Eller helt enkelt; vaniljbullar med strösocker. Goda är de i alla fall. Dessa har jag dessutom bakat i långpanna, vilket gör hela bakningen lättare. Nu när jag ser mina egna foton på dessa bullar så inser jag att jag kanske hade aningen mycket strösocker på. Bullar som bakas en och en brukar rullas i strösocker för att få en jämn fördelning. Men eftersom jag bakade dessa i långpanna så fick jag istället strö sockret över bullarna. Därav den stora mängden. De innehåller också mycket vaniljkräm och blir saftiga och fluffiga. Jag fick fram 15 st denna gång, men det går absolut bra att göra mindre bullar så att du får ut fler! ♥

Du behöver:

Deg:
25 g jäst
3 dl kall mjölk
1 dl strösocker
1 msk vaniljsocker
1,5 tsk kardemumma
0,5 tsk salt
100 g rumstempererat smör
600 g (10 dl) vetemjöl

Vaniljkräm:
2,5 dl mjölk
3 äggulor
0,5 dl strösocker
2 msk potatismjöl
1,5 msk vaniljsocker

Pensling:
1 ägg
Smält smör
Strösocker

Gör så här:
1 – Deg: Smula ner jästen i en bunke. Häll mjölken i bunken och rör runt till jästen löses upp. Tillsätt resterande ingredienser till degen.
2 – Knåda ihop degen i maskin i ca 7 minuter eller dubbelt så länge för hand. Degen ska kännas lite klibbig men inte kladdig när den är klar. Låt vila i bunken i 30 minuter.
3 – Stjälp ut på lätt mjölat bakbord. Tillsätt lite extra mjöl om det behövs och dela upp degen i 25 delar. Rulla alla till bollar.
4 – Lägg ut dem intill varandra på en ugnsplåt. Gör en grop i varje bulle med hjälp av skaftet på exempelvis en träslev. Låt jäsa under handduk i ca 1,5 timme.
5 – Vaniljkräm: Blanda ner alla ingredienser i en tjockbottnad kastrull. Värm upp och sjud (ej koka) under omrörning tills krämen tjocknar. Ta kastrullen från plattan. Häll över krämen i en spritspåse (eller använd en sked) och fördela jämnt i groparna.
6 – Sätt ugnen på 225°C.
7 – Pensla bullarna med ett uppvispat ägg och grädda mitt i ugnen i 12-15 minuter. Låt svalna.
8 – Pensla de avsvalnade bullarna med smält smör och strö över strösocker. Servera direkt!
